We see this, for example, when we wash jeans, but often forget it when selecting bedding. Clothes that shrink a little after washing usually don't cause much discomfort—they stretch as you wear and move in them. However, a duvet cover that has shrunk can really spoil your mood.

When choosing a bedding set, we recommend adding up to 5% to your duvet's measurements to allow for shrinkage. For example, if your duvet size is 140x200 cm, choose a duvet cover in size 150x215 cm.
